Top Unreleased Tracks of 2012

Unfinished, rips, leaks, not authorized or licensed...there are so many unreleased tracks out there that we decided to pick up some of them and make a little top. In no specifc order, here are some tracks that deserved some official release.

Jai Paul - Baby Beats/100,000/Feist Beats

Jai Paul is a mysterious musician/producer. Since his first song, BTSTU started rolling in the web in 2007, there were only two official releases (BTSTU and Jasmine) from the British producer.  In September, however, Two Inch Punch uploaded some leaked beats from Jai Paul. "Baby Beats" that samples JoJo, "Feist Beats", that samples "Limit To Your Love", from Feist, and another demo called "100,100". Below.

"Baby Beat"

"Feist Beat"

A$AP Rocky - Ridin (Feat. Lana Del Rey)

"Ridin" ,or "My Bitch", was supposed to be on Kickdrums Mixtape, but A$AP Rocky pulled out the song to his upcoming album in 2013. Artful Dodger - Please Don't Turn Me On (Disclosure Remix)

Anythind Disclosure do, it's usually gold.. No exception is their remix for Artful Dodger's "Please Don't Turn Me On", that they premiered this year on a live stream set for Mixmag. But apparently they had to delete the music from the set for lack of sample license or something like that. Nevertheless, the track has been played on Radio and in another mixes without any kind of official release. Hear it below.

Chromatics released a full new album with unreleased tracks from the past years.

As Johnny Jewel says: "Jet lagged & buzzing from Friday's show in Paris, I couldn't sleep...so I stayed up all night with Oko talking about color based dreams while blending these tracks together. Since the album came out, a lot of people on the road have been telling us they are curious to hear some of the unreleased music from the Kill For Love sessions...Recorded November 2009 through December 2011, these songs were all mixed between 4 & 6 a.m. After hours of tracking at the studio in Montreal, we'd clear the channels on the mixer, open a bottle of wine, & feel around in the dark...working our way through the atmospheric elements & peeling back layers of rhythm...throwing the songs into the abstract pile & playing them while driving home in the snow. In Amsterdam right now trying to upload it from the hotel. Fingers crossed..."

Below you can see the tracklist and hear the full album (lyrics here). Enjoy.

Looks like Angel has a bright future..

5º: Kanye West - White Dress

4º: The Black Keys / RZA - The Baddest Man Alive

1º: Jeremih - Fuck U All The Time Ft. Natasha Mosley (Shlohmo Remix)

This month the top 3 tracks were very close. In fact, they're all brilliant in their own way..but we ended up choosing Shlohmo's insane remix of Jeremih's "Fuck U All The Time". Why? Because Shlomo transformed brilliantly the original track and emphasized its title and chorus "Fuck U All The Time" with a sexy and addictive beat. Hope you enjoyed this TOP.
